A love I keep returning to

FoundVideoAmin Matalqa

Amin Matalqa’s tribute to his wife, Claire Naber Matalqa (1978–2015). A film I return to every year, and through which I came to love two people I never met.

Years ago, I watched one of Amin Matalqa’s films and went looking for more of his work. That’s how I found this. I’ve kept coming back to it ever since.

A place for another way of seeing.

El SubCulture collects things made, things found, and ideas that stayed. Some are useful. Some ask a question. Some simply make you look twice. The connection is curiosity—and the freedom to follow it somewhere unexpected.

You do not need to fit a type to feel at home here. If something catches, leave a thought.
